  • help please with cutting d-bond?

Posted by Lorraine Clinch on 30 March 2007 at 11:41

I was a wee bit slow getting a design out to a favoured customer, and he’s now told me his signs need to be installed by Wednesday next week.
Trouble is, the people who usually cut Dibond to shape for me (ovals & the like) are snowed under until thursday.

Is there anyone out there able to supply 2 signs cut to specified shape/size & get them delivered to arrive no later than tuesday 3rd April?

Shapes & sizes are as below

hi lorraine, it’s a long shot, but you could try GDI in uckfield, east sussex (graffiti design), i used them last week as the people i normally use were quoting 10 days, gdi did them in about 3 days, if it’s something simple like this, then they may just be able to do it for you,

their number is 0800 146008, ask to speak to Colin (boss), he’s a nice bloke !

I’ll let you know how we get on 🙂

i’ve known of em for over 20yrs (we used to go fishing down the river behind the estate), as kids we always thought it must be a cool company with the name graffiti !

re prices, the quote i received for the foamex shapes i had cut, was only marginally more (eg, £4.98 each as opposed to £4.88 each on 15 pcs), but the turnaround made it worthwhile !

I phoned around some local sign suppliers, one of whom put me in touch with another local signmaker, who has a CNC router, and they can help me, so all is good.

Many thanks Hugh for your help.
