Hi, i use and have been using a P-cut 630 for the last 3 years, it works a treat, never had any bother at all.
If you can, try and get 1 with a serial connection because everyone who seems to get a USB version has trouble setting them up 😀

    Hi
I’m a novice with an (eBay) Rabbit plotter/cutter. My set up cost was about £370 including 5 x 5 metre rolls of 60cm vinyl, application tape and a basic tool kit. The Rabbit cutter has serial (com) and USB inputs. I found the USB much easier to set up than the com port. Took me about 30mins to get it going once everything was assembled. I’m really pleased with the results and now have a smart van and loads of promo stickers.
I was going to post an image but that may be seen as blatant advertising!

Steve, did you have problems with the Rabbit when you were cutting? ifso how did you fix it?

Did you get your plotter working with the Mac?

I don’t use it a great deal – just for personal use, but I do get the occasional letter that the cutter has not quite made complete. I’m only talking a fraction of a millimeter and its not really a problem on letters over 30 mm tall. It is a problem with small letters (10mm). The "ball end" weeding tool helps. There’s been quite a lot of talk about this problem being offset setting – apparently not adjustable on a rabbit. If you hear of any info on this cutter please pass it on. I will do likewise of course.
