Hi Paul (seamer), what software do you use ? if you use coreldraw 12, i’ll be happy to spend 15 mins on the phone with you, should be able to give you enough basics to draw things like that, then once you got them, the rest kinda comes natural.

Hello Hugh Oh I’ve been around for years. and myself I use corel and always digitize by hand it’s more accurate than all that editing after a auto trace.

you’re not wrong there, i’m guessing the other paul may well be starting out, it can be quite daunting looking at all the tools in corel, but once you get the basics, as you’ll know, it all comes quite easy after that, i often experiment with different tools, and it’s surprising what you discover that then becomes the norm in your design methods !
