Has anyone tried the jac vinyl from victory, i find it rips easily and quite brittle…..they called me today to ask what i thought, i explained and they said they had a mixed opinion. i was sold it as they said its very similer to there 5000 series but alot cheaper… im going to stick to the 5000 and just pay the extra.

i havent tried it, so i cant comment fairly…

with all vinyls in general, i would always advise buying the best vinyl you can afford. why save pennies for it to come back costing you a re-do of a van and a bad reputation?

we have posted some details regarding this vinyl before, we have used it and its ok but i would not use it unless i had to, when vinyl logistics supplied it we went through a good few rolls but after a while they dropped it. i have been told jac and Avery have something going together but also that jac wont be made any more, however this could be rubbish it came from another rep !!

you can get better vinlys cheaper

As I understand it from Victory JAC Serical is the monumeric 3/5 year film equivalent to the Multifix 5000 series and all colours are stocked. JAC Serisign is the polymeric equivalent of Multifix 7900 series 5/8 year. I normally use the 7900 series but have tried the JAC and I like it as it feels softer and has a slight more aggressive tack adhesive (my opinion) The more common colours are stocked in Serisign and apparently more will be added as time goes by.
I assume there is some future in JAC or Victory wouldn’t start doing it and apparently the lead time in getting stuff in is 2/3 days as opposed to weeks from Multifix.

I’ve been using JAC serical and i like it. I had a roll of 5000 sent out when victory was out of stock of a colour in serical, but i just didnt get on with the 5000.

mind you, i have only used the serical plus one roll of 5000, so cant compare to other brands.
