  Oracal 751c Black – Matt Finish query?

  Hi all !

  Have a job coming up where the customer requires an area of a car bonnet flood coated with Matt black. Then cut vinyl applied on top. Two questions –

  Will cut vinyl stick to the Matt black ? The cut vinyl will also be 751c.

  Will the Matt black be as good as the normal black to apply over the recesses and curves of the bonnet?

  Yes to both the above. It really does look quite good, but be careful when using the squegee – marks really easily. I would use a felt squegee and a fine spray of water on the face to minimise marking the vinyl.
