    Hi,

Can anybody think of a way I can scan a graphic so I can trace the outline in Corel DRAW?if I had an A1 scanner it would be a piece of cake but I don’t and they are serious money.any ideas?

    Thanks guys,

just make sure the camera is on a level surface and the object your trying to shoot is even as well or your going to get a fisheye effect and your graphic wont be scaled correctly because of the tapering of it.

    Hi,

yeah I thought of that but I didn’t think you would be able to get it level enough as to not distort it?do you think it’s possible?

    i’l give it a go,

    Thanks,

I use a great Photoshop plugin to correct just about any type of image distortion: http://www.altostorm.com

I have scanned many oversize items on my A4 Epson scanner by scanning separate "tiles", laying them together in Corel and then making them into 1 bitmap. If you use a flatbed scanner you should not get any distortion problem.
