photo to cartoon software
hey guys,
does anyone know of a program that can convert a photo to a cartoon (?) (?)
ive googled it and downloaded a program but its not all that much cop 🙁

Hi mate i know that you can do it in photoshop but its not a one click thing. I picked up an A-Z of photoshop and was looking through it and there is one complete article on this even to the point of having the print dots in the image making it look like a true cartoon print the type you would see in a comic type book, amazing results but looks time consuming.

Not sure about converting to a ‘cartoon’ but you can easily ‘posterise’ as per some Andy Warhol pictures.
In Photoshop – Open the Posterize dialog box, as described in Using color adjustment commands.
In Flexisign highlight the bitmap, go to the bitmap menu, select vectorise and select Color at the bottom. (not sure if in all versions)

When you have don as macky suggests, how about a bit of distortion to exaggerate the features, nose chin etc?
