    Hi All,

Forgive obvious questions, but being a new kid on the block I am still learning. I have a requirement to theme a window with graphics and light from inside with dmx controlled LED lights for a themed party. Would reverse printed metamark MD5 clear be the right product ? Want it to be correct and also not be the most expensive option for me.

    Cheers
    Adam

Adam, I am not a printer so someone is bound to come along and tell me I am wrong but clear is not really a good medium to print to for this sort of thing from what I have read. I would have thought you would be better off with backlit film There are two sorts available, reverse print onto the back of one film or print to the front of the other.

printing on to clear alone will not give you a good result, you could print on to clear with one over print in reverse then back it with a white diffuser vinyl. It will be a case of trial an error to get print image dark/solid enough and diffuser correct to allow enough light through but not show LEDs individual bulbs.
    Hope this helps
