  summacut d60 serial cable

  I bought a summacut d60 second hand and it only came with the usb cable, trouble is i am using software that cant seem to get it to register with the usb cable(it only lets me install a plotter using the com1-2-3-4-5-6 ports) so i am now stuck with trying to get it to register having a plotter connected to the pc via the 9pin serial cable! since buying a 3rd party serial cable i still cant get it to work. I have been told i need the original summa cable as it will differ slightly? can anyone let me know if this is the case and where to buy one from. thanks

  hi
  a summa one is quite dear, i used to make them as the wiring is in the hand book but havent had a summa for years so no book to hand sorry.
  if i remember the 9 pin one was a lot easyer than the 25 pin.
