blank reflective number plates – suppliers
hey guys,
looks like I’ve landed a job where i need blank reflective number plates ( yellow / white ) for printing on the cadet
does anyone have any good suppliers / prices for this product

Get mine from Tennants Roy, 0115 973 8080.
Can’t remember price, but they are not expensive.Think you may have to be registered as a no plate supplier, to purchase them though, could be wrong but worth a call.

might be easier to buy reflective on the roll (non adhesive) and then just buy wet acrylic fronts Tennants or Automargue (homepage). Also i believe Tennants do LG reflective on a rollKev

i could be wrong but is it not only thermal printers that prints onto these reflective blanks?
i only know two reflective vinyls that will take solvent ink and that’s mactac and the NEW Oracal Digital Reflective. The oracal stuff prints perfect, works really well… the mactac works very well but shows signs of banding. still does the job though…
i do not know of any other reflective that will take solvent ink due to its make-up… even the new nikalite from europoint wont as it has a polyester film on the face that just repels the ink.automarq do do them as do grafytyp. i think both over the full setup…

i have a mate who does car number plates and he uses a acrylic plate with the reflective ( yellow / white ) self adhesive face, after printing design it is applied to the plate. i would get the blanks from him but the atmosphere is a little frosty as i think he quoted for the same job 😕
i gave tennants a call today and have something coming next week which i hope will work with my cadet ???
