  how do i install trough Lights correctly?

  Hi everyone, just a quick question. We are installing a trough light on a 50mm folded dibond fascia, the light is supplied with 300mm adjustable brackets. My question is how far above the fascia would you fit the brackets? Would you just keep the brackets tight to the top of the fascia or would you move them up a certain distance. The fascia is 915mm deep and the light is only to light the top half. Thanks again.
