I’m looking for a supplier of sign trays. I have plenty of suppliers at the moment, but they only do like biscuit tin trays. I have a customer wanting an 8’x2′ board for the front of her shop. But she wants a finish to the edge of the board. Something like a bevelled or rounded edge. Like if I stuck some mitred dado rail around the edge. Does anyone know of a company that makes this type of tray and powder coated?

    Cheers Mark

Hi Mark, jag sign supplies do a plastic frame in 3 variations, suitable for up to 5mm boards (I think), large range of colours, & not expensive.

Mark, I did know of a company that did that sort of thing in fibreglass, they had a good range and prices were pretty good as well. Unfortunatly I don’t think I have the details anymore. Maybe someone else will know of them. Jag as Nicola says do a range of plastic trims in different colours so you could fit a trim yourself.

Well done Peter, I knew someone else would come along with the name and contact, saves me looking through the stuff I still have on the off chance.

Mark thats the company I was talking about, when you contact them ask for a catalogue as they do all sorts of different types of signs in glass fibre.

Have you considered "Returns" by SMP, would be a small profile, but would still be a tray and you could make yourself, may work out cheaper.
