    Hi all

Read a post earlier about the truck vinyl from APA and problems with it?

Was it okay in the end, as I have a few to do and it has put a worry in my mind, as I have used it before with no problems.

    Thanks Dave

If i was to do a truck side i would ether make a mask and spray with screan printing ink, or signwrite with screan printing ink. That stuff sticks to any thing and will flex, then to re-use paint over. In oz we use viponds banner paint on banners havent seen it in uk but works great, its water based. I would hate to have to rememove a permanent vinyl from the truck side.

That was me! No problems in t he end, had not used the truck vinyl before so the lack of adhesive when i initially peeled it away threw me.

The problem arose from the lack of information there on and not being able to get someone who spoke understandable english who knew the product.

Luca from APA called in the end, explained the characteristics of the vinyl and it went on a treat!

you have nothing to worry about

Just make sure they give the curtain a bloody good clean as they are covered in road slime!

The smallest hint of grease and they won’t stick. I just wiped over with alcohol and they were fine.

Be back on the bike soon now eh? Shoulder healing nicely?
