Those of you who print onto clothing with a heat press may have already discovered this, but if not….

When applying garment film onto fleece material, the pile becomes flattened. To raise the pile up again, rub over it against the pile with a felt sgueegie. This improves the look until the customer is able to wash the garment.

I always make a neoprene pad to go behind the logo I am applying, so the rest of the fleece doesn’t get much pressure. Never been able to apply to a fleece without some flattening, and I have never seen it disappear after a wash, which I thought it would.
