HELP!!!
Hi
My graphtec cutter keeps saying off scale when i want to cut . it did do it the other day and i managed to sort it but don’t know what it was .
Anybody help

At a guess I would say you are maybe trying to cut something bigger than the vinyl you have loaded into your cutter

once you put your vinyl in and klik ENTER to use ROLL 1/2 it will measure the width and the cutter will park on the right as you are looking at the front of the cutter ready to cut, press ENTER again and it will give you the width it has measured this will NOT be 610 even if you are using 610 vinyl, mines usually somewhere about 593 ish you need to check your software to make sure it is no bigger than this or you will get the error you have got.

Its now cutting a tiny little letter A about 3mm and the blade stays down for about 10 seconds and then stops

Lee. I would call either graphtec, who are always very helpful, or perhaps first off, the firm that supplied your machine, and let them walk you through the set up.
Its always a bit frustrating as a complete beginner, but stick with it, it can only get better, its a bit like learning to ride a bike….Peter

Ye i’m going to call them tomorrow . its so frustrating when you just want to get going and things don’t work out. Just noticed the little A its cutting is followed by 2 dots.

Lee i know you are still using corel for your design but would you like me to send you a demo disc for vinyl master pro its fully working you may find things a bit easier, pm me if you want it ok.

Leelee, I get the same problem on our mimaki when I do a print/cut job. It is caused because of a margin error (not enough room to cut, wrong sheet size etc) but the weird thing is, we will print/cut one job. . . go to cut the same job again an it wont work. Its very annoying — let me know if you find a work around.[/c]
