We use them all the time to ensure that there are no foreign bodies on prints prior to laminating.

    Anyone use Tack Cloths?

I’ve used them a few times and they seem pretty good, just wondering if anyone else does. 😀

Never heard of them, are they anti-static?

Nah, they’re not anti-static Lorraine, they are just sticky so a gentle wipe over a van panel or digi print and all the dust and muck sticks to the rag and comes away with it.

Used a lot in car body work and available from your local motor factors.

If you want to try them I’ll stick one in the post.

    Cheers Guys,

Just a curiosity thing really. I think they’re quite good.

Hi John, thank you for clearing that one up, they sound interesting, I would be interested in seeing how ‘tacky’ they are. Are they actually called Tack Cloths? If you don’t mind popping one in the post John that would be great. Learning more every day!

Thanks John, arrived this morning. It is quite ‘sticky’ isn’t it, feels strange! I have a car to do up next week, so will give it a go then.
