    Hi Guys,

Hope someone can help quite quickly.

We have priced for a shop fascia and now at the last minute the client has changed the background colour, he has given us a pantone reference that has no possibility of being matched in vinyl. We have been planning to use dibond for the background and flood coating, but now need to find another way to colour the dibond.

is powder coating an option, or rollering with paint?

all the materials are ready, as we were planning on doing the job today, nightmare :S

    thanks for any help guys

    hi chris!
i have painted dibond with a product called eurogen whaich is a brushable 2 pack paint mixed to your chosen colour goes off fast and lasts forever – and i’m talking west of ireland weather!!!! you can use a small foam roller.
    cheers

    Chris,
you could have a screen printer flood coat your pantone colour on to vinyl .

The quickest way would be to use a local car spray shop, if you have a sample of the pantone then it can be mixed in automotive finishes.

Its the way I would go for speed and durability

we have screen printing in house, put the panels and too long to coat in one piece, we are currently testing the printing ink and a gloss roller on a sample piece, will let you know how that goes

Have rollered dibond with screenprinting inks before, you should be okay
if you use a good quality foam roller
