  • Epson 4000 Printing Problem – ‘Service needed’

    Hi
My Epson 4000 is playing up, can anyone point me in the right direction of a reasonable priced company that could repair it.
It is telling me that the machine is clogged and constantly asking for new ink, despite me just buying all eight original Epson inks.

I bought it second hand on e bay (what a mug!) it only seemed at first that two of the inks needed replacing, now having changed all of them it is still telling me six cartidges are almost empty and the other two are almost full!!!

When I send to print it automatically does a clean and almost clears it, but then tells me it is clogged!

    Any help would be appreciated.

    thanks
    Tony

There is a service menu where you can do stronger cleaning "KK1, KK2 etc" from memory. I think you may benifit from a maintenance kit which is new flushing box, ink pump, waste tank etc. I am trained on 7000, 9000, and 10000 series but the smaller one is almost the same.
