  Font identification or lookalike

  Hi, Morgunbladid (Morning Paper) is one of the two big newspapers here in Iceland & I had a request for a decal with the word SAD with the same font as the Morgunbladid uses on its frontpage. Here below is a picture of the paper with the font. I am no fontspecialist now but I will be & in the meantime could you help me out on this one?

  Erla, Its one of those that looks familiar, but not like the ones I have. it’s olde English engraved type, does it have to be an exact match or near?

  I’m going to call the Morgunbladid office later & just ask what font it is, I´ll let you know if I get a response :lol1:

  I called the paper & they told me that this isnt a font, its a drawing based on the font Olde English so my customer is getting the Olde English font or nothing 😉
