I just acquired a PC600 and having a heck of a time getting it up and running, at least to accept jobs from the computer anyway. It seemed to print the demo OK but that’s as far as I can got. I use corel 12, flexi sign pro, and sign lab. Created some simple text in corel and sent the job to the pc600. The machine picked the cartridges and went to the far right side and just sat there doing nothing. In flexi pro, it at least started printing, but basically was printing on top of what it had already printed. Seemed like the vinyl did not want to advance or something. If it prints the demo OK it only seems to reason that I must not have something set up or installed properly either in the software or the driver.

Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated.

Don’t know Mike – sounds like you haven’t installed it properly. If its printing the demo properly (which is from the PC60o itself) then there is nothing wrong with the machine.

The fact that diffrent software packages arent working suggests to me that you don’t have the correct print driver installed. Go to the roland website to download the correct driver for your operating system and start again is all I can suggest.

    Phill,

I went to rolands web site and got the current drivers for Windows XP and they are installed. Also have a message into roland about the issue hoping they will get back to me next week. The cutting part of the machine works perfect so that pretty much tells me their is nothing wrong with the electrical/mechanical device which feeds the vinyl. Been down this road before buying used equipment without much documentation and usually is operator error on my part not getting some simple setting correct. least I hope so this time..

this indicates that there is a miss match between coral page and the driver page.

select the printer in coral then double click the page border and use set from printer this will match the corel page to what the driver has been set to put graphic in this page and try
