  • how to cut down a log of app. tape?

As above, I stupidly have purchased a log of app tape and haven’t had it cut to size.
Does anyone know the best way to go about a bit of DIY cutting?
I’m sure I saw something on here a while ago, but can’t find the link…

Hope you are having a better day than mine is turning out to be! 😥

The problem with cutting it is that if its not a clean cut it will tear when you pull it from the roll, can you not send it back for cutting?

Have a look in your local Yellow Pages under Tapes – Adhesive and Industrial. Ring round and find out if any of them are ‘convertors’. The convertors cut logs of tape into rolls.

    Best of luck

I had one delivered uncut, used my bench saw to do it, no problems a few burn marks, but fine otherwise and it unrolled fine.
