Having had great success with a P cut 630 from Alan Flynn (seems i am in the minority at having no real problems with one of these) I am starting to look at what could be a sensible upgrade to this machine. I sometimes cut 4 mtr long 15 mm wide strips so need something with accuracy on long cuts. As the p Cut dosen’t have a stand and media holder the next machine must have as this has proved to be annoying. Your suggestions and advice would be much appreciated

well after first starting out with a sign pal ultra which was great and i still use every day
i have 3 plotters the above a roland colour camm and a summa d60 each have there own good points however the best all rounder for small letters and long plots has to be the summa
    this thing tracks so well
i must also say i had a graphtec plotter again 610 which also was a great plotter

i would say any top brand plotter is the way to go

A stand fine, but do you really need a media holder, if you do its easy enought to knock up your own.

Any of the well known makes, Graphtec, summa signpal mutoh etc are all up to the job, it mainly depends on the deal you can get,

So I best start searching out suppliers and getting quotes, I know no advertising is allowed on here but any one got any reccomended suppliers of new machines (ones with good back up service) closest to northampton would be nice.

    Hello,

Robert Horne, who are in Northampton, do Graphtec & Mimaki plotters. We have a Mimaki and are very pleased with it.

    Cheers,
    Jamie
