Can anyone give any advice on the following –

I need to put together a multi-page booklet/pdf containing files i have produced for a client.

I know i can do this in InDesign by placing the files individually, but i have 200+ files for this one client alone, and i would ideally like to be able to just import the folder and put 5 – 10 files a page without having to spend all day doing it. Im guesing someone here has done something similar before, so hopefully someone can help.

I use the Adober creative suite 2.

If you mean you want to import PDF files into Indesign CS2 without selecting each picture box and importing a specific page, you can do this:

    1. Put picture boxes on each of the pages you want to flow the PDF
    into.
    2. Deselect all picture boxes.
    3. Go to File > Place.
    4. Select your PDF and enable ‘all pages’ or set your page range.
    5. After you click OK your cursor will change. Click on the first
    picture box.
    6. Cursor will stil be changed so choose the next picture box and the
    next etc.

    That should do the trick!

You still have to click on each picture box but its a lot faster than importing on each page.

    HTH! 🙂
