Printed vinyl onto shop window do I apply inside or out ?
Ok this might be a really simple question, but it will be the first time I apply printed media to a window.
Should I. .
A) Print the images/graphics onto a white vinyl and apply to the outside of the shop window.
B) Print onto clear media in reverse and apply on the inside and then back with white vinyl. ?
any thoughts and comments would be appreciated

The answer is going to be site specific in my opinion.
Generally you would print them in reverse on clear and back with white then apply on the inside. This is going to stop the prints being damaged by grubby fingers as people walk past the sign. But its not always possible due to tinted windows and access issues inside etc… Make sure the windows are uber clean inside and out too!!

I agree with Pauly, but I have a job to do shortly that will be printed and laminted and applied to the outside.
It comes down to preference I suppose, but I wouldn’t do an outside application without laminating it.

I would prefer to fit to the inside, I feel it will take much less abuse from window cleaners / passers by.
My only concern about applying a print from the inside with a white backing is, is the image going to be bright enough ?
I know from fitting standard vinyl on the inside of glass it only looks good when viewed from certain angles, and can suffer issues with reflections and refraction.
The glass in not tinted in any way, access is not a problem for either inside or outside application. -
I would go for inside every time mate much less abuse likely to happen and if the weather is inclement it wont make any difference
