60 Degree Blade
I just put a new blade in my machine and it is cutting like crap!!! the lines are rounded and not crisp at all! I think the blade got mixed up and is a 60 degree. Would a 60 degree blade cause this?
Also my machine is a Mimaki type, if I change it to a roland holder I can use roland blades? Im paying around $13 a blade and I want to get some a little cheaper!! :love:

60 Degree blades are usually for heavier material. but should cut normal vinyl without a problem, you may need to change the offset though…
And make sure the blade is only just prodtruding from the holder.Peter

with the new blade maybe being 60 degree would you not have to change the offset?

Im using winpcsign and my knife offset is 14…. ive never changed the offset so i had no idea wat to do, so I set it to 24 to see if it helped and vwala it worked!!! But only on one letter! When I tried to cut a whole decal the lines got all round again or looked like the flinestones logo!!! ahhh i dont know what to do!

Check this out, it explains offset, not sure how you would adjust on your machine, but it should be mentioned in the manual.

Im adjusting via the softwear and the results are less then good :(, So there should be a way to adjust it on the machine? Im going to call the company tomorrow and ask them, because I don’t see it anywhere in the book!
