  • whats best way to apply text around a logo please?

    sorry guys im guessing its so easy but its just to early lol i have a round logo and i want to apply text around the outside all the way round the circle, what is the best way to do this?

    Hiya

    If you offset the path of the circle you want the text to follow, make it a bit bigger than the original.
    Go to the text icon, keep it pressed down and the text toolbar flyout wil appear, the 3rd icon in with the T sitting at a 45 degreee angle will appear (type on a path tool) then click on the larger circle and type.
    If it’s sitting at the wrong point on the circle use the paragraph palette to justify it (left, centre or right). If the text isn’t sitting far enough away from the original circle you can use the "set the baseline shift" in the character palette to be higher.
