where can i source Pcut compatible blades please?
Looking for Pcut compatible blades, was told that Roland blades would work in a Pcut, true or not?

Alan Flynn sells the p-cut blades. I bought my machine from him and got about 10 blades with it, so i guess he sells them also.

As Glen says Michael speak to Alan Flynn. I would imagine his blades are cheaper than Rolands ones too 🙂

know about Alan, bought my cutter from him. Was hoping some one would be able to tell me if they are compatible, have I got it wrong?

unsure why you would want to use another type of blade unless you can’t get a different degree blade (so for flock, reflective etc) for the PCUT.

Was thinking the same thing, unless another brand are cheaper. Which I wouldn’t imagine they are. Even if so surely only pennies cheaper (?)

ROLAND blades will NOT fit in a PCUT blade holder, but if you purchase a ROLAND blade holder it fits perfectly in a PCUT, so then you can use ROLAND blades. 😎

The reason I was asking is that (1 )Roland blades are cheap on eBay(where else ) cheaper than the pcut one anyway. eg 10 x Roland postage €25 vs 5 x Pcut at €80 (2) the looked similar. About €30 gets you a Holder, but what I have seen of Roland holders they appear to be the exact or very similar to pcut holders, but better made.

not yet but will be doing it before my blades run out, i still have about 6 spare. Someone told me that they did and it workd great, i have also read it on a forum once. The good thing is you have easier access to blades and different varieties and angles to suit your application. It definately is on my "TO DO" list.
There is an ebay seller in australia who sells 45 and 60 degree blades for the PCUT for $40 AU which is only about 15 pounds for a pack of 3 or 4 and his postage is free in AU but very cheap to international buyers. May be worth a look. 😀
