Thought I’d get round to posting something eventually.

Just finished this yesterday. The whole thing was white apart from the black ‘belly’. Some big welds on it but it came out ok in the end. The design had to be copied from the owners fleet of small rigid tankers.

I’ll get round to posting some more work soon hopefully.

    Cheers
    Kenny 😀

good job mate. Tankers are harder than they look. You nailed that one tho. What vinyl did you use?

It’s hard to judge the time. It was so warm that I could only work early morning or late evening. When it cooled down enough, I got the 2 sides striped with some of the black coachline in 3.5 hours. The back took about an hour and there was about 3 hours cutting.

Total time I charged for was 10 hours. If I get another one to do though I think I could bring that down a bit :lol1:

    Thanks Shane 😀

I have to confess that I got an offer on Avery 500 series (£40 a roll if 5 rolls are bought)

It was pretty good though. Quite forgiving when I needed to lift a strip up to reposition it. Went round the welds nicely too 😀

Good job that. What lengths did you apply the red in? 1 piece?

Each strip was about 1900mm long. Any more than that and the plotter can start losing track. Plus I don’t have that much room at the mo 😳
