Has it really run out? Have you taken it out and shaken it to see if there is any liguid in it? Is the tab out?

I’ve printed about 3m of solid black in the last few days and my black cartridge was nearly empty to start with and is still going now.

This was on 720dpi as well so a lot of ink has gone down so I think yours must be either telling you the ink is empty when it’s not or it’s putting so much ink down it would be running off the vinyl, I’m not even sure the head would be capable of running 220cc through in that time.

If your using the 440cc cartridges they can sometimes cause the printer to report the ink level wrong, I think the latest firmware fixes this but it also uses more ink on the cleaning stages etc.

What material where you printing on to?

I think thats probably about right for the amount you have printed..

    Try

Production (360×720) 2 passes and bidirectional.

Make sure you select the appropriate profile for the media being used.

When I do labels Hazmat orange vinyl with black prints I limit the ink till it is just black enough especially for these as they go on for a week or two an then get binned seems to last for ever.
