    Hi All

Anyone had any problem with heads drying up in this heat wave. Our room is at 27c.

Anyone use aircon for there room, and does it make a differerce ?

    Thanks

    Jon

We have heat like you are getting, every day in the middle of summer here, never affects the heads on my roland.

I have airconditioning in my office but it is for my benefit, not my printer. On a 38 or 40 deg day here, my airconditioner struggles to get my office cooler than about 28 deg c, never had an issue with dried heads, related to heat, ever.

Thanks Shane … It may be because its not had a great deal of work over the last couple of days.

Must appreciated comments, I am happier about the heat now 🙂

    no worries mate.

I run a test print every day that my machine is not working, just to keep them in use.

    Seems to do the trick.

    Hi there,
I bought an air con unit from homebase. It does cool things down a bit.

I work in a large conservatory. 😮 The heads are fine, but I’ve lost about 10 pounds this week :lol1:

I run off a few business stickers for myself every day when I’ve not got a lot of work on the roland.

There’s only been a couple of times when the machine wouldn’t run because its too hot. I try to work first thing in the morning and last thing at night.

Don’t worry……we’ll soon be be moaning about the weather again when it cools off !!!!

    Cheryl 😀

I think you will find that some printers respond a little worse than others when the heat hits, our last 2.5m machine had plenty of issues with hot days at times…

I would maybe be more concerned with humidity than heat if the weather is playing up at the moment?
