Ive got a new customer who wants me to design some graphics for his truck and has asked for "3D" lettering by which I think he means chisel effect or prismatic effect lettering. He wants two shades of green plus a shadow. I have no problem with the shadow etc but unless I buy a prismatic font straightaway Im not sure how to go about putting a prismatic effect on a standard letter. His choice of typeface is Arial Black (uninteresting I know, but he has stationery already printed like this). Can any of you kind people with Signlab please type in C.L. Jeffs and put a chisel effect on it for me so that I can make sure that this is the effect he wants before going and buying a prismatic font.
All help much appreciated as usual 😀

Thanks Marcella, That looks absolutely brill, just what Im hoping he’s after. Did you do it in Signlab? I cant find any prismatic fonts on the web that look much like Arial.

    Hi jayne,

yes, it’s Arial Black with the chisel effect applied in signlab.

If that’s what your guy is after you can email me the text you want done like that and I’ll send it back to you if you can’t find anything you’d rather use.

    Marcella
