vehicle graphics: ford rally car
hi all, just a quick one……
this is a recent escort cosworth rally car that we did, serious bit of kit…..
the customer runs a couple of these and one of his drivers is ermmm "a nutter!!" so there should be a few repeats.

looks nice, is it replica graphics or new ? looks very ‘ford RS’ stylee anyways !

hi hugh, the design was a callabiration between us and the customer, as far as i know its not based on a replica, although the customer did indicate that the colours were based on the ford colours.
the owner insisted on taking me for a "spin" and scared the cra*p out of me, its pretty quick.

looks nice from here too.
I dont like trimming the vinyl on the car – but is that what you had to do for the wheel arches – or is it possible to cut to size on plotter? Never had to do it.

hi martin, the design was produced on our versacamm then "wrapped" and the excess around the wheel arches was trimmed.
the design was cut to size and shape elsewhere, not on the paintwork.
