I am not sure if this is the right place to ask but it is a print forum so here gos.
I am looking for a ultraviolet ink that can be printed using a inkjet basically one that can be put in a blank cartridge and used that way. Have a customer who wants to make tickets for a private party and wants to have a design and name on the card. When it gos under Blacklight the design and ticket owners name glows. Its just done on cheap paper/card and is mostly a favour. Does any one know where I can order yellow ultraviolet ink, has to be clear(ish) when printed as well. Not much is needed, any help most welcome.

nope… not sure i can help u on using odd ink in a solvent inkjet printer… risk of screwing up the heads etc.

I suspect a silk screen printer could help… watermarking could be done but I suspect at great cost.

Ah.. an alternative is to get it in a form of spray can, then spray the tickets a little while a UV light is on, the just need a rough mark/patch. It be rough but might be enough, then again you could let them worry about it

no, not a solvent printer, am not rich enough like you are 🙂

Just your plain A4 size inkjet printer. Idea I had was to chuck the ink into a empty cartridge and print off using that way.
