  • why is winpcsign pro and Pcut/Creation 1200 not cutting?

    HI guys and girls,
I’m really hoping you can help me with this one as i’m starting to go mad!

I bought a Pcut1200 a while ago and could never get it to work with the software it came with (Artcut6) so downloaded the demo version of winsign pro 14, everything was great except having to keep pressing cut as you have to do with the demo version.

I decided to buy the full program and now neither the demo or the full version will cut at all. The settings are the same, i’ve uninstalled the demo version to see if that would help but to no avail. I’ve tried USB and serial connections, have i missed something simple?

Any help would be great, thanks in advance

Have you not asked the question of your supplier?

Or is this another case of finding out how expensive a cheap machine is?

    Thank you for your reply.
I am currently doing everything i can to get back up and running at present, and looking for as much advice as possible. The reason I have posted up here was to see if anyone else had come across the same problem, working with the demo version of winpcsign and the full pro version.

sounds crazy but is the baud rate set correctly in the cutter and software? should be 9600 not 19200.

    hello adam,

if the machine came with artcut it should work with that, as well as pc sign,
which would sound like a faulty machine,
however as peter said, your supplying dealer of the the cutters or the software should be able to get you up and running over the phone, if there is no fault with the machine, if there is, this is when you find out how good there warranty is
