can i print onto printable White reflective?
I’ve got some signs to make that want printing onto reflective, now I used to have some from Andersons that my Cadet printed no problem and then I laminated but it’s really expensive and only available in 5 yard sections.
I then got some of the cheaper LG class 2 reflective from Victory and tried to print onto that but it seems to have a coating on that the ink won’t get a hold on.
So does anyone else know of a cheaper reflective that can be printed directly or will I just have to get the same again from Andersons.Thanks

avery 2420 ok with eco max inks lg just wont do it will it

I wonder if the reflective from Andersons in the Avery.
The LG is funny, the ink just pools on the surface and doesn’t dry for ages, I think they did it deliberately because they also sell their printable reflective for a huge amount.

Stephen I’ve printed to 3M 180c, avery and Oracal reflectives without any dramas. Can’t remember now if I used eco ink or solvent. I’m pretty sure I used eco on the 180c , but not sure about the others.
Both print excellent on the techinks, but that is not the question is it 😳

Print onto clear vinyl & then apply onto any reflective = problem solved!

I’ve done that with the LG but when you then laminate the clear and apply to the reflective it all ends up a little thick.
I’ve got some Maclite 5700 from Amari now and it’s printed no problem so that’s what I’ll use in the future, it was a lot cheaper than Andersons as well.
Having said that I didn’t know Oracal did reflective & I guess I should have asked them.
