I have a quote to do for a local haulage company who want to put an anniversary logo onto all of their wagons.
Print size is 1mtr square approx.
i know in the past that there was a lot of posts relating to the useage of a special cut vinyl for curtainsiders. I would imagine that this also applies to printed vinyl?

Can anyone suggest a vinyl manufacturer that has a product which is suitable??

    regards Darryl

    Hi Darryl.

I was faced with a similar problem a couple of weeks ago. The only vinyl I know that is suitable for curtains is Avery Signflex, although I believe that APA do one as well. So really it has got to be one of those.

The question now is will the ink stick to the vinyl?

All I can tell you is that I haven’t had the dreaded phone call yet. 😀

    But it’s early days. 🙁

    Hi John,

I have used the cut stuff from APA, and very good it is as well.
blo**y difficult to get off when you make a mistake though 👿
    1.5 days and blisters for a 1mtr square section 🙁 🙁

I had a job recently that was similar to your problem. Is it possible for you to simply print onto a high quality banner then have it welded onto the curtainside?? Thats my best bet if its a long term application?

Failing that i have had a lot of success using a decent quality cast with a blockout adhesive to stick over a standard banner application to cover old graphics???
