Pictures of the bikes numberboards. I thought the Font works well and the angle and spacing seemed pretty good too. Didn’t have a choice about the colour though or it would have been BLACK.

Very nice Tark…another bike freak eh…here’s a decal I did for a mates duke the other day on a craft robo (small A4 cutter) he asked for the legs to be 12" diameter, don’t think I’ll try that again, had to do each leg separately! twice

How did you do that with a cutter? As in get all the different colours in the decal.

Black Vinyl first then cut and laid each other colour on top, whole logo was done before putting on the bike…was going to use registration marks but ended up applying the small bits wet (sorry Rob) and sliding them into position….took a while

Sorry to jump in here, but does anybody know how much a digital print and cut would have cost for the Isle of man legs?

Paul, materials only for a 3 colour print woud be around 1.20 per decal on my edge, retail ?£20.0 0+each depending how bad the customer wants tem them, and how original..

Thanks Peter, certainly more cost effective than cutting, although given a bigger cutter it would have been a lot quicker, I think!

Hi Derek. I race my own team this year in the F600. Yeah that is a HONDA CBR600FSI. First of the Feul injection CBRs. Its not the fastest thing out there by todays standards but I am still getting podiums in the 600s and the open class.

I rode MRO powerbikes last year and some of the World Superstock. Was all set to go R6 Cup but money fell through so I ended up with no money or sponsors. Hence back at club level and on a 5 year old bike.

No other stickers on my bike. Tark Racing sticker on the front and a little one on the side and thats it. No Sponsors = No stickers on bike. lol.

Same bike but Black numbers for a Open class.

Hi Tark bike looks cool in stealth mode i can see a full wrap coming.
    is that cadwell
mine is up for sale at the minuit i need an easy taper !
they are a good bike and still shock a few people i havnt raced since last may (croft my local circuit) 1.30s at my age so not too bad.
i was at a trackday on thursday helping my mate and was itching to get on the bike, but i have a couple of ops coming up and my
surgeon would peak if i went back with more injurys.
Hi Stephen ken from merlin is a top bloke know him and michael and the lads they sponsor my mate dave bell and painted the two kawasakis in the picture.
Tark its big money as you know in the BSB paddock
more money spent on motorhomes and looking good in some cases.

I do the stickers for a local firm here (Mark Johns Motors No.77) that run a bike in the privateers cup in BSB, bit hard doing it as he has so many people putting money in and they all want a sticker in their colours, looks a little like a patchwork quilt 🙂

God knows how much money he has in it but when he built the first bike he reckoned it had cost around 60K 😮 , the next year he had 2 plus 2 in the super stocks!

He said the BSB bike is now getting around 210hp at the back wheel.

I normally race grasstrack with a few enduroes and supermoto’s thrown in, always fancied a go at road racing but never enough to actually do it.

Yeah that was Cadwell in March With New Era.

Croft is my local track too although its still 90 miles away! lol. 1:30 isn’t too shabby. I managed a 1.31 at croft last time I was there on Wet tyres on a dry track! lol. Bad tyre choice as the sun come out the race before mine!

Didn’t do the tyres much good!

    http://www.tarkracing.com/images/cbr600fs1/ripped_wet.jpg

Still managed a third and a pot on the mantle piece though. 😛

You are more than welcome to do a full wrap on my bike.

I raced a GSXR1000 last year in the MRO Powerbikes and even though it was an old(ish) K1 it still had 185 BHP but was just a bit of an animal compared to the newer ones. I was faster at most tracks on the RSV Factory with 150bhp. Been quicker this year on the 600 though!

I could really do with Sponsorship to get back up to the level I was at but it seems without being there already you struggle to get interest but without the interest I cant get to that level. Catch 22 really. (chat.)

    RG Campbell electric?

What amazes me is the amount of money being thrown at road racers, When I was racing Grasstrack a lot about 10 years ago I was running top 3 places all the time in club races, with a lot of meetings where I’d win every race and in national events I was usually no lower than 5th and would get a least one race win in a meeting, same with a lot of other grasstrackers I know, could we get sponsors, could we hell.
My mate Scott started road racing last year, has had a few average results and he’s having money and gear thrown at him, all his riding gear, tuning parts etc, the only thing he’s had to do this year is paint his van, he can’t believe it.
