    no "best way" as such….

banners are cheap and easy to change for new ones, boards ( pvc foamex type) might look better but will cost more.

How long do you want it to last for?

    Cheers

The last advertising trailer I did was made of fibreglass. I applied vinyl lettering and digital prints direct to the bodywork. Don’t know if all trailers are made the same though?

Hi ive now aqquired a trailer but its only a framework.

im planning on boarding the trailer with exterior grade plywood but im not sure how the best way to attatch a digital print banner would be.

i dont seem to be getting very far with the problem.

has anyone come across this in the past. any help appreciated

    thanks. 🙁

If your going to fit plywood to the framework, then I would have the banner hemmed and eyeletted, then screw through the eyelets with penny washers.

yeah thanks id thought about that but im thinking of renting out the unit meaning it will have various different banners on all the time.

after a while there would be nothing to screw to if you get my meaning…..

Hooks around the outside, then bungee cord through the eyelets then?

Thanks for the reply. that sounds ok but doesnt sound like it would look very proffesional.

ive seen a few up & down but i couldnt see how they were attatched.

however they were attatched it was very neat……. 😕

Dale you can buy banner channel which is a rail of extruded aluminium
in which you can slide bolts which the go through the banner eyelets. The strips remain permanent and you just change the banner.
