This was the prototype for a large order of double sided hanging banners.
Thanks to Andrew Butler for the printing,

Banners are suspended in ally tubes, so can be replaced at a later date.

2 banners were used back to back, fixed down the edge with dd tape

Just 50mm tubes, 2mm wall, slot cut out and plastic end caps, Notch in the top for cable fitting, held in place with the end cap.. simple but it works.

    nice work peter…
is this something you designed yourself?
The tubes are a good idea, they look good in the picture.
    are the tubes self fabricated?

yes Rob I thought it would look a bit nicer than just pockets over the tubes,
The finished poles will be sprayed with 2 pack for a good finish.

It also makes for easy replacement in the future, just slide another banner in without having to remove from the supension cables.

I believe you can buy ready made poles like that, don’t know if that would save you time/money Peter.

    Cheers

Oh well another idea that someone thought of first!!

The poles worked out fairly cheap, got a carshop to paint, all I had to do was run a slot down them.

Any idea where to buy the ready made poles Dave? A price comparison wouldnt hurt.
