vehicle graphics: jacks
Posted by Peter Normington on 19 April 2006 at 17:48Just done this today, thought that as gerbers are now getting cheaper to buy second hand, Some may be interested in what they can do, without spending 10k on an inkjet.

i like the pictures very nice
so are they overlapped or butted together ??
great work mate
who supplied the photos or are they from disk
thanks rich -
Tiles were overlapped before application. The 2 outside pics were provided by the manufactures, the middle bathroom was scanned from a brochure. on the other side of the van there are 3 more different photos.

The big jacks works for me, how do you scan from a brochure and get a sharpe picture like the one in the middle, still reading the overlap but thinking to hard cannot see the wood for the trees, will try again in the morning with new gumidge head on.

Thanks for making my mind up for me Peter.
A Gerber sounds a good way to go. -
Andrew I woudnt say its the best way to go, but an alternative, If you only have a small demand for full colour graphics and want to do small decals and labels on demand and in reasonable numbers, and save on floorspace, a gerber is worth a look at
