those are nice mate, how did you cut the ovals and is the dibond flood coated or sheets own colour?

Green ovals were cut in vinyl, applied to the alucolour, left the app tape on, then Hand jigsawed around, A quick sand arround the edge to finish.

a tip when doing this mate…
leave a 2mm outline of vinyl on the oval.
do as you did, leave tape on and jigsaw. when done, remove tape then peel the thin 2mm outline away. you will be left with a crisp oval. but a little space were the line was jigsawed.
i always find jigsawing tight to vinyl causes chips to get under the vinyl edge, hence why i make the small outline.
obviously if you have something like white dibond with green oval its going to be noticed.

    Nice one Peter.
I would have used my dremmel to cut them out though. 😉 😎
Is that a new food/water bowl I see behind them for the dogs?

Good tip Rob, does that mean you end up with a white space around the oval though? there is a bit of white showing in places, but I was going to finish of by either sanding or filing to finish. May even try a spokeshave.
Dont know how it would work on composite, but cant really see a problem.

Funnily enough, I did the small ones first, when i got round to the big one, the cut was almost perfect, So as they say Practice does make perfect.

😀 I’ve seen pictures of them. Massive beasts eh? Gently giants though it seems. Awesome dogs.
