Nik I do a lot for bmw, there are 2 styles of checks, one uses mac, the other avery dennison.
the material is not a problem, most cast wil do the job, so what do you want to know?

Nik you had the check design that was short of the edge of the roof. Avery denison and I think laminated the other checks are mac 9800
Avery dennison seems to be not available, mac isno problem

ive used it nik, thats why i said that, but it was subbed to me for fitting only. i have used some other similar vinyls too. KPMF vehicle wrap is a bit like that also. easy to work with, has a nice shine, thick and managable. ive always found these type of vinyls to whiten easy on dark colours when stretched… i am not neccesarily speaking about the vinyl you used. just blabbing :lol1:

    Hello,

Avery Dennison is the name for what used to be Fasson. I know the company that supplies these to BMW…I’m fairly sure that they buy that
particular vinyl from Robert Horne, although I know there are other suppliers. Hope this helps.

Just back from the pub. Bad Friday..shuts at half 10!

Now called Avery only…not with the Dennison part, although I think it still
says FasCal on the back. You are probably looking at their 700/800/900 range, but the 900 is cast and horribly expensive.
