PC60 – opinions before I buy please?
Posted by Kenny Ramsey on 10 April 2006 at 15:00Hi everyone.
I’m looking for a cheap entry into full colour printing and found this on ebay. Having read a few other posts on this forum, I’m concerned that this is a con. Do you think this is genuine and if so, is it good value?
Many thanks

looks genuine enough but the legality of selling it with a copy of the flexi software is very dodgy if i was going to buy it i would visit and see it in action printing especially to see if the print head is in working order.

Ask if you can go see it?
If he says no, then maybe thats your answer

Thanks guys. I’m in Northern Ireland so that rules out visiting it. I’ll see what the guy says if I suggest it though.
Thanks

Be careful Kenny, I was almost caught trying to buy one of these.

Hi Kenny,
Used vinyl cutters are a great one for the ebay scam artists!
Be very careful……
As was said above, ask to see it working and offer to pay for it when you collect it if you win the auction. I did the same with a "seller" selling a 610 roland camm-1, turns out he’d hijacked someones account and was selling vinyl cutters and rolex watches that didn’t exist.
If it’s genuine, he’ll be happy to show you it and accept payment on collection………if you get replies in broken english asking for western union transfer, and offering you a UPS tracking number RUN AWAY!!! (hot) (hot) (hot) (hot) (hot) (hot) (hot)
Cheers

Thanks all. No response so far. Think I’ll stay clear :lol1:

Good decision, especially as the seller has zero feedback
