Making Car Stickers with My Versacamm – help needed please
Hi Everyone
I have been making a small run of car window stickers – printing reverse on clear window cling.
The problem is backing with white – I dont have the space for a laminator so have to use a squeegee and white vinyl on a worktop.
The problem is air bubbles – even though we can get a pretty good result, I was hoping for better.
Any tips/tricks for this – and any recommendations of what cling, and what white vinyl work together well please??

for that job i get on best with image perfect 3500 matt white easyest to hand laminate with

Apply wet. But you must wait couple of hours for drying.

Why not print a mirror image onto white cling? I do.

How would that work Peter, curious to know?
If your mirror printing onto white it wouldn’t be visible would it?
I thought (and I may be wrong) that the side that "clinged" was the side you pulled the backing off of, hence clingy front would have to be reverse printed onto clear then backed up with white, and clingy back would be normal print onto white!
or am I confused??

The cling film I use clings either side so it makes for simple car license holders, for example. Try yours. If it clings both ways you’ll have a simple solution.

Ok, I understand that bit (who do you get yours from), however, why mirror the image if your printing onto white?

I use Hexis standard (not digital) cling film. It prints fine on my Cadet.
I only mentioned mirroring the image because I was drinking too much !!!
Forget it, I was thinking of something else. 😳
