    Hey Folks

Need some help. I am currently printing sports garments using a gx24 Roland cutter and multi layering for badges etc, but, I am thinking of buying a full colour printing machine to aid complex badges etc with the hope that it will improve efficiency (less weeding time) and hence, make my pricing more competitive.

However, I would like to also use this machine for signage full colour images as well. Was wondering if anyone would have any suggestions as to what machine is most suitable. Was thinking of using a Gerber Edge, but some expert advice would be appreciated!!

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi neil,
I,m far from an expert, but i would suggest a roland versacamm.
These are much, much more economical to run than a thermal transfer. I would think of a cadet which is a versa converted to run on solvent inks if you are going to use it for signage needs, not sure about garments and solvent inks though? Give it time and you shall definately get some expert advice of someone who knows a damn sight more than myself mate.

I have a Roland PC600 which I use for garment printing / profile cutting. Mainly for Motocross shirts. Results are really good. Also great for short runs of stickers.
Yes, it can get expensive to run on large jobs, so I just use it for smaller stuff. 90M replacement ribbon @ £5 ea. Not the fastest thing out there either.
