KPMF do stoneguard. It comes in black (textured) and clear. Don’t know how thick but it is the thickest vinyl I have ever seen.

cheers andy, do you happen to know what the adhesive is like?? strong/ average/ weak??

The black textured stoneguard is the stuff you see on the pillars of cars. It has a fairly soft adhesive but obviously has a long lifespan. It is very easy to apply. We used to use the clear stuff to make kits for Land Rovers so it is very good stuff.
Edit: It’s hard to describe the adhesive, I would say it has a high grab, but the rigidity of the vinyl makes it easy to fit.

when you say rigidity of the vinyl, is it a soft, flexible material and will it adhere to non-flat surfaces??

It will stick to a curve but not a compound curve. Too thick.
