BBC on air tomorrow
Hi Everyone
Well we had our filming done today, by the BBC on air tomorrow at dinnertime and evening on the regional news (Look North) bit nervous 😳 but good fun, their we all were this morning waiting for the film crew to arrive visions of the big green van with BBC written all over it loads of people with clapper boards and sound engineers, Ha Ha!!! it was a bit of a surprise to see a nice young lady appear in a Ford Ka with an haversack and a sport bag, Hello she said I’m Sue from the BBC our faces were a picture, she got all unpacked made her camera and sound equipment up and that was it, she was ready.
Started by filming around the shop, different Neon Signs we had made up, then through our different processes, of making a Neon Lamp, then the interviews about the history of Neon and the future it has left in the sign industry, then a few more minutes of glass bending and pumping and that was it, took about 4 – 5 hours of filming for a two minute slot, but great publicity for Neon and its history can’t wait to see it.Autographs by arrangement, see Rob Ha Ha!!!

Yes when we get a copy we can send a copy out to anyone who wants one.(Oh Ech I might have landed myself with a right job here)
