  • Menu / Printed Vinyl?

I have a menu board to do and to save some time I was planning to print the menu on to vinyl and apply it to a piece of Forrex.

As this will be my first time at buying in some printed vinyl I wondered if this would be printed on a clear or white vinyl?

I plan to make the printed vinyl approx 10mm shorter than the substrate in order to make this easier to align for myself. I’d prefer to make the vinyl a little larger than the substrate and then trim once applied to give a nicer finish but am unsure how I would align this. Would the correct way to do this be wet as this will allow me to manoeuvre the vinyl in to the correct place?

    Thanks

No clue as to the right way to apply this as I am mostly a sign painter.
A word to the wise would be to leave the prices blank,
    cut them seperately in vinyl,
and supply the client with extra RTA numbers to make price changes easier.
