    Hi Guys,

i came across this pdf file http://www.bbcmagazines.com/teachme/ttm_web_activity3.pdf which is freely available for download.

On closer inspection, i noticed that the long, scenic image at the very bottom retains it`s sharpness no matter how close you zoom in. It seems to be some sort of layer which you can`t access.

Other images on the page loose their sharpness as you zoom in.

Does anyone know how the this long scenic image can be extracted with the view to printing it on my Cadet and using it as a sort of border for my daughter`s bedroom?.

I`ve tried copying and pasting using acrboat 6.0 `s “select image” option and cropping but it still loses it`s resolution.

    Cheers,

    Rod

Rod, Acrobat Pro has capabilities of manipulation of non-protected PDF’s.

    Thanks dave,

Pro would allow me to select that specific layer or collection of vectors?.

    Cheers

the border you want is in Illustrator format, save the PDF and open it in Illustrator ( 8 prob best) and then you can do what you want with it.

    Simply perfect dave.

I`ll need to find a way of incorporating “Dave Rowland” into my daughter`s bedtime Balamory story 🙂

Perhaps you should open up a sign shop next to “Pocket and Sweet” on the main St 🙂

    Thanks again mate. 😉

    Cheers Tim,

Son`t have illustrator 8 but dave managed to extract it for me using Acrobat Pro and it has worked out perfectly.

    Even Archie`s kilt is vectorised ! 🙂

    Thanks.
