  can anyone tell me why this illustrator file wont open?

  We have had a file sent to us in Adobe Illustrator but cant open it as it seems to need the newer version adobe to open it? We have tried opening it in Adobe CS but it says "you need a newer version to open this file" ??

  Is there anyone that could open this file please, save it as something else we can use and then send back? We cant get hold of the client to get it re-sent!

  Carrie, I’ve got CS2 on another computer here. If you email me it to me I’ll give it a go.
